Happy Birthday Santana!

Today is my oldest daughter Santana's birthday! Where has the time gone? So many years have passed but it only feels like a couple!

What a weekend!

My oldest daughter has been in the hospital all weekend. I brought her to Emerge on Friday night. She had a C section when she had Evelyn about 6 weeks ago and developed an abscess right under her scar so they operated on her yesterday and she will be out tomorrow. It was the first time she had been operated on and put to sleep so she was pretty nervous about it. All went well and she's doing fine and up walking around now.  I took a picture of baby Evie the other day with the hat I made her. Now her and big sister Hailie have matching hats. Too cute! Look at those pudgy cheeks!

Help! A couple of days ago I visited a blog that had blue homespun for sale for $2.00 a yard. Does anyone know what blog it was???? I've searched and searched and can't find it again :(

Jester Hat and Tutorial

I saw a cute photo of a child wearing a hat like this the other day and I wanted to make one for Miss Pearl so I did a search on google and found this great tutorial for one here. I changed it up a bit when making it and Miss Pearl just loves it. I had it completed in less than an hour - including some hand stitching that's required. I made one for baby Evelyn the other day too but she was sleeping and I didn't want to wake her just to take a picture. I'll try to get one soon.
